Subscription Terms#

I. SUBSCRIPTION#

These Subscription Terms govern your purchase of paid services on the website provided by StorySync Inc. (“we,” “us” or “our”).
Paid Features. Access to Premium Features is structured as follows:

  • Monthly Subscription (Limits): Your subscription includes a specific allocation of credits (limits) per billing cycle to generate reports. These limits reset at the beginning of each new month.
  • Top-Ups (if available): If you exhaust your subscription limits before the end of the billing cycle, you can purchase additional "Top-Up" credits to continue using the service.
  • Additional Services: Certain specialized reports or premium features may be offered as separate one-time purchases that are not included in the standard subscription plan.

Pricing: The full list of pricing plans, credit limits, and costs for top-ups/additional services is provided on the pricing page of the Website. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly) within 24 hours before the current period ends. You will be charged the then-current rate unless you cancel.

II. INTRODUCTORY OFFERS#

We may offer a discounted rate for the initial period of your subscription (e.g., a special price for the first few days). Important:

  • Paid Period: This is not a free trial. You will be charged the introductory price immediately upon purchase.
  • Automatic Conversion: At the end of the introductory period, your subscription will automatically convert to the full-priced monthly subscription plan.
  • Cancellation: To avoid being charged the full monthly price, you must cancel before the introductory period expires.

III. CREDIT EXPIRATION#

  • Subscription Credits: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, unused credits allocated as part of your monthly subscription expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over to the next month.
  • One-Time Credits: Credits purchased as a standalone package may have different expiration terms, which will be displayed at checkout.

IV. PAYMENT METHODS#

Processor: Payments are processed through our merchant of record, Paddle (or other authorized processors). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
Authorization: By entering your payment information, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fees (and any taxes) to the payment method you provided.

V. CANCELLATION#

Subscriptions are managed entirely by you. You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future payments.
How to Cancel:

  1. Via Email Link: Click the "Manage Subscription" link in the purchase confirmation email sent by our Payment Processor.
  2. Via Support: Contact our customer support team directly with a cancellation request at the email specified below.

Effect of Cancellation:

  • Cancellation applies to the next billing cycle.
  • You will continue to have access to Premium Features until the end of your current paid period.
  • No Refunds: Canceling a subscription does not generate a refund for the days remaining in the current term.

VI. REFUNDS#

To address all issues related to refunds, we have developed a Refund Policy that constitutes an integral part of these Subscription Terms. Please examine it carefully to understand your rights, including the waiver of withdrawal rights for digital content.

VII. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES#

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank instead of contacting us for a refund:

  1. Account Termination: We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account for breach of payment obligations.
  2. Dispute Evidence: We will submit evidence to the financial institution proving that the payment was authorized by you (including IP logs, usage activity, and your acceptance of these Terms).
  3. Fraud Prevention: You may be banned from using our services in the future.

VIII. CHANGES TO PLANS AND PRICING#

We reserve the right to modify our subscription plans or adjust pricing at any time.

  • Notice: We will give you reasonable notice of any price increases (e.g., via email or a notification on the Website) before they apply to your next billing cycle.
  • Your Choice: If you do not agree to the price change, you can cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
